the development of the human brain, towards survival and opinions both, is astounding.

the technology we've so far developed is utterly astounding. (i personally think we're pretty neat.)

the lengths we go to to up our fighting power is astounding. horrifying, horrifyingly sad; the creativity and even beauty involved in the sciences, however, is something that-with different reasoning implemented, perhaps-we can be very, very proud of. despite the misled reasoning for the development, we have come very far in mathematics and engineering. it's pretty awesome.

some people are doing something-or at least trying to-about our state of decay. that's astounding, too.

beauty is astounding.

the rest here, those pieces that don't fall into one of those moving categories, are mostly images of trapped or scared beings. like me screenname, i consider them a metaphor; a metaphor for the human condition in many places around the world. oversimplified, that condition could be called "trapped".

what if music didn't exist? what if sound, inflection, that whole aspect of the human interpersonal experience, was denied you? what if your hands were your only voice, and those who spoke your sad language were few and far between?

what if all you could hear was a deafening roar of nothing, a vortex in which uncertainty is the only certainty?

what if wondering was as far as you could go? what would you truly do if you were in a place where there was NO "up"?

would you regret your former apathy?

do you wonder if, after so much time in this captivity, you'd even dream sound?

more are afflicted with such a nightmare than we like to admit.

i am here to help promote movement. i am here to attempt to inspire a shift from apathy to passion; i am here to create a riptide in the tired current of change. i am also here to learn, expand, support, and WONDER! you can join me if you like.

the example of LSD is used, in this case, as a metaphorical example of what kind of a scale we need to get up off our asses and connect with each other. we must be the monumental, moving trip through the human psyche required to inspire this world to no longer sit still! we will experience life to the fullest and attempt to allow all others to do the same. we will share ART! we will share LIFE! we will experience all we can, we will learn, we will grow, we will LIVE- what other reason to be alive?-and, hopefully, i might inspire some people to learn, grow some balls, grow some patience; remember, without variety there would be no beauty or chance for expansion.
